ABOUT
ME
Hi! My name is Stephanie Rummel. I am a graduate from North Carolina State University (NCSU) with a B.S in Fashion Textile Management, concentrating in Product Development. My background spans various facets of the industry, including retail, fashion design, styling, and technical design. Each facet has contributed to the unique skill set that defines my approach to fashion.
As a fit model at Sani, I collaborate closely with designers and technical designers in fitting sessions for a diverse range of clothing items, such as dresses, tops, and bottoms. My role involves providing detailed feedback on garment fit, comfort, and movement, actively contributing to the refinement of prototypes and final samples.
I am proficient in CAD software such as Lectra Kaledo, Adobe Illustrator, CLO, and Gerber Accumark. In the fall of 2023, I crafted the "AVENUE" collection for my Senior Studio class, leveraging Gerber Accumark for pattern design. Each piece reflects New York-inspired streetwear/business attire, emphasizing versatility and simplicity. As a Fashion Design Intern at William Murray Golf, I blended creativity with functionality, contributing to the brand at the intersection of fashion and sports. This transformative experience reinforced my passion for boundary-defying fashion.
As a Stylist at Platform Magazine, I contributed to four photoshoots by curating outfits for models, ensuring they align with the set's mood and aesthetic. I collaborated with the set design team and provided my own wardrobe if needed, adding a personalized touch to enhance the visual narrative for the fashion and culture publication.
