AVENUE COLLECTION

As part of the fall 2023 semester, I had an amazing opportunity to embark on a creative journey to develop a collection for my Senior Studio class. This collection consists of eight total garments. Each design is consisted of conceptual sketches transferred into flat pattern designs utilizing Gerber Accumark. Then draping (design specific) and the construction of these pattern pieces is completed to bring my vision to life.

My collection is called "AVENUE", inspired by the streetwear/ business attire of New York fashion. "AVENUE" symbolizes a combination of versatility, confidence, and simplicity. I've always gravitated towards more of a timeless silhouette, therefore I wanted to create a collection that make you feel sexy and independent.  My personal style is intricately interwoven into each piece along with a third-person perspective to create a unique and simple look. Each garment is named after some of my favorite streets in New York City.

At the end of the semester, I showcased my collection in the annual Threads Senior Fashion Show. Elevating the experience further, Coach had graciously sponsored the event and accessorized my models with luxury purses and stylish sunglasses from the iconic brand.
